OMGWTFBBQASDFJKL;

Okay, you guys, I'm really sorry, but I have a confession - I think it's partly my fault that our team lost the Cup.

I mean, that sounds pretty pretentious of me, to take the blame for something huge like that, but, I mean, after all, for a good while right before the game, they thought I was Camilla Khoo! I, well, oh, my gosh, the resemblance never once occurred to me! I'm still kind of getting over the shock, I suppose, but I was treated like a queen. I mean, it's understandable, given the circumstances, but I still can't believe it - I was actually mistaken for a famous Quidditch player! Did anyone know that Camilla Khoo, by the way, is dating Aldrius Hallworth? Because I sure didn't... until, and I'm not making this up, I found this out the hard way, I can't believe this actually happened, I should just get on with the bloody sentence already... but, yes, under the impression that I was Camilla Khoo, international Quidditch star Aldrius Hallworth kissed me. Me, Su Li, piddly little 16-year-old Ravenclaw. Unbelievable, right? It blows my mind.

<private to self>
That's a ridiculously exciting prospect. I know girls who would quite literally kill for that opportunity.

So why in the world did I not enjoy it nearly as much as I should have?

But anyway, you're probably thinking, "Su, you stupid bint, get to the point! What's this got to do with losing???" And I'm going to say, well, a lot. As I said, it was almost game time, and sometime in that lapse where they thought I was her, they went over strategy and that, so obviously she wasn't there to hear it, and [I feel like I'm letting my House down by admitting this] it was honestly all Greek to me. Obviously, though, this was not the time to go, 'Oh, sorry, but I'll have to duck out, I'm not really your team-mate, and you'll have to go hunt for her yourselves. Sorry I lied to you, by the way - I mean, after all, how could I give up the way you treated me like royalty? But anyhow, I'll just be going now, ta-ta~!' And then came the thing with Aldrius, and wouldn't you ruddy know it, right as he cut off, the REAL Camilla Khoo finally turned up!

So, er, she didn't catch all the strategies, and she joined the rest of the team, led by Aldrius, spent a good deal of the little time they had left unwisely - by practically inciting a lynch mob against me!

I told you all I had bad luck at Quidditch games!

I didn't even have the heart to tell Uncle Yong and Auntie Bao why I was flushed, dirty, out of breath, and nearly late for the match. In fact, I can't remember what I told them.

But, oh, is it good to be back home. As long as I don't, oh, end up in the Prophet [or Witch Weekly, more likely], then I should be fine. Anyone care to do something? I really need to drown all this wank in something fun.

Are you serious, Su? Or is this a bit of fiction you've written up for a writter's magasine, perhaps?

Oh, I wish. I mean, maybe I exaggerated the lynch mob bit, and I don't think I made that much of an impact to have been a contributing factor to their loss, but I am very serious in that I was mistaken for a Quidditch player, and shared a 'moment' with another, and got found out when the real one showed up! If this was for submission, the writing would've been much more polished, right? And any fiction I'd write would be wish-fulfillment, which this came nowhere near.
